People, due to popular demand and the intense reaction to the Pork And Beans single, the wait time for the new album has just been reduced! The album will now be in stores in the USA on JUNE 3RD! Here are the release dates (USA and International as known so far)...
USA - June 3rd
Canada – June 3rd
Japan – June 4th (subject to change)
Germany – June 6th (subject to change)
Australia – June 7th
International – June 9th
UK – June 9th – Digital only
UK – June 16th – Physical CD album release
Pork And Beans Int'l Single (formats TBA) – June 16th
Pork And Beans UK Single (formats TBA) – June 23rd (to be confirmed)
Note - the Deluxe edition of the album will be digital only initially. Collectors and completists may have to wait a while for everything to be available non-digitally. More info on this as it becomes available.

omg omg omg so i saw 21 last night and in the credits there was a new song by weezer so i was watching the movie and really liked the music and had recognized a lot of the songs during the movie and wanted to see who all the rest of the songs were by and all of a sudden while looking to see where peter bjorn and john were going to show up i saw the name Rivers Cuomo and got really excited i just wish i had noticed during the movie that weezer had a song Rivers Cuomo Song (“Everybody Get Dangerous”) Weezer (II) Song Performer (“Everybody Get Dangerous”) i wish i had noticed during the movie but hey there were no bad songs in the movie so that means the new weezer album is pretty good no? though it may be bad since i didnt recognize anything as weezery while watching the movie i was watching to credits to see what songs were in the movie because through out the movie i loved the music and recognized a lot of songs |

[29 Oct 2006|08:26pm] sandandthestars so =w=eezinites, this ees de plan. I want to be Rivers (circa Blue/Pinkerton/Green era) what with the argyle sweaters, collared shirts, corduroy pants and stuff. But I'm a GIRL. So I need to work out the hair somehow...how do I keep it =w= nerd friendly? ahhhh, I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! I know we all are obsessed, but since 6th grade (I'm a freshmen in college) I've been pretty head over heels for this band...especially Mr. Cuomo. so, any ideas on being creative with it? I'm on a college budget, remember. -So I'm going to try to make his guitar out of cardboard -borrow someones guitar strap and slap a yellow construction paper lightening bolt on it -wear one of my own sweaters, borrow a collared shirt -my tan converse allstars -dark brown cotton pants or tan-colored cordorouy pants? - any other creative touches in mind? as dorky as possible, I want this costume to be. AS RIVERS AS POSSIBLE. So I almost feel like collecting all of the items mentioned in "In The Garage" I'm so excited. gimme some tips! :) |

He's gone and done it!
Karl has posted a pic of Rivers's wedding over at the official site. I wish he'd cut his hair and wear his glasses! lol They all look lovely though.  Now, this is probably only interesting to vegan =w= fans such as myself, but the food was all vegan! That's pretty cool :o) So, as someone said in the comments on the site, he's off the market. Thoughts? Reactions? |

Hey,
Should we hold an online crying-party on Rivers' wedding day, "ten days after his graduation" (ABC interview)? Just like teenage girls did in the 90s, listening to the Titanic soundtrack and weeping together. I'm happy for him, but I'm also sullen and rejected (lol) like a 12-year-old with an unrequited crush. Come on, it'll be fun! I'll bring the tissues, someone else can bring 'I Do' on CD and we'll listen to it on repeat. (This would have to be a box of cyber-tissues and an MP3 not a CD, but you know...) |
